Minimum Wage Increase

The  minimum wage is set to increase for the beginning of the new 18/19 tax year.

The new rate becomes applicable next pay reference period that begins on or after the date:

  • a rate increase begins (6th April 2018)
  • an employee reaches a new age bracket.

These rates are subject do change and reviewed annually by the Low Pay Commission.
